Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using eodi.me. By downloading, installing, or using eodi.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

A "device" is a single physical or virtual machine with a unique activation. You may deactivate a device and reactivate on another device at any time.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Billing is handled by LemonSqueezy. By subscribing, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service.

6. Data Updates

Active subscribers receive periodic updates to the hexagon database (new cities, refreshed POI data). Updates are distributed as new database files. We do not guarantee a specific update frequency but aim to release significant updates at least quarterly.

Data update access ends when your subscription expires. You retain access to the last downloaded database version after cancellation.

7. Bring-Your-Own-Data (BYOD)

Business and Enterprise plans allow you to import custom POI datasets. You represent that:

8. Self-Hosted Deployments

Business and Enterprise plans include the right to run eodi.me in a self-hosted Docker environment. You are responsible for:

Self-hosted instances may only serve your organization. You may not provide eodi.me as a service to third parties without an Enterprise agreement.

9. Intellectual Property

eodi.me, its engine, the hexagon database, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Map data used within eodi.me is derived from OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the ODbL. See openstreetmap.org/copyright.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

eodi.me is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, that data will be accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

eodi.me provides neighborhood analysis as an informational tool only. It is not a substitute for professional due diligence, legal advice, or site surveys. Do not rely solely on eodi.me data for significant business or financial decisions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of eodi.me, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of eodi.me.

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without notice, if you:

Upon termination, you must stop using eodi.me and delete all copies of the hexagon database from your devices. Sections 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15 survive termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes at least 14 days in advance via email. Continued use of eodi.me after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
